Runesmith's Ritual Sword

Sword

"The best symbol to represent a sharp sword is a sharp sword"

Created specifically for ritual use, hand built with cast bronze fittings sculpted with magically symbolic designs. The pommel shows the heraldic emblem known as "the Sun in Splendour," with two faces, and on the sides a design of oak leaves and acorns which both complement the God-image and stand for Earth. The crossguard shows the Maiden's and the Crone's moons with twelve stars and clouds, which also stand for Air, with on the edges a design of dolphins in flowing Water.

The steel blade is hand forged to order to Athame length (up to 500mm from pommel to point) or Sword length (up to 1 metre from pommel to point), and can be stamped with Runes or other symbols to order. Blades can be supplied forge finished (hammered to shape and ground fairly smooth), or ground and polished to a shine. The hilt can be bound with leather or cloth as preferred. Can be supplied in a leather sheath with bronze fittings and/or a presentation box, black oak effect varnished and lined with black velvet.
