A range of cast pewter buttons in authentic Medieval styles dating from between 1400 and 1600 (with one earlier).
All designs are based on originals found in the Thames, London, described in
"Dress Accessories" (Egan & Pritchard).
The names of the designs refer to regional styles, but any would be suitable for most European fashions.
All buttons have long shanks suitable for securing with a thong behind the cloth in period style.
