Pendragon Torc

Pendragon Torc

Torcs (neck rings) were signs of honour in Celtic culture. A Roman historian describes Queen Boudica wearing a great golden neck ring.

The "Pendragon" torc is an ornament fit for a chieftain: 27 strands of golden bronze wire hand twisted into a thick glittering rope that can be bent to fit and sprung on and off, fused at the ends into bronze discs.
